For me, Vintage Market Days® of Lexington is more than an event—it will always be home.

Lexington, Kentucky, is where I was born and raised. I attended elementary school, junior high, and high school right here in the heart of the Bluegrass. My parents moved to Lexington before I was born, leaving the coal fields of Eastern Kentucky but never the family ties and traditions that kept us connected to our roots.

Today, Chris and I call North Georgia home. We are blessed with two wonderful sons and a daughter-in-law, but no matter where life has taken us, Kentucky has always held a special place in my heart. Returning to Lexington never feels like visiting—it feels like coming home.

Like so many Kentuckians, we bleed blue, love horses, spend afternoons at Keeneland every chance we get, enjoy an ice-cold Ale-8-One, and cherish the people, places, and traditions that make Kentucky such a special place to call home.

When Vintage Market Days® of Lexington relaunched in 2022, Chris and I proudly joined as vendors, greeting guests at the very first booth they saw upon entering the market. From that first event, we fell in love with the incredible community of vendors, shoppers, and volunteers who make this market unlike any other.

Today, it is both an honor and a privilege for Chris and me to serve as the owners and promoters of Vintage Market Days® of Lexington.

Our passion is creating an unforgettable experience where shoppers can discover beautifully curated antiques, vintage finds, original art, boutique clothing, handmade goods, home décor, and so much more—all while supporting talented small businesses from Kentucky and across the country.

As we come full circle, our commitment is simple: to preserve the warmth, hospitality, and sense of community that have made Vintage Market Days® of Lexington a cherished tradition while continuing to create memorable experiences for every vendor, every shopper, and every guest who walks through our gates.
